About Tom MacCormick

SEE MY RESULTS

My mission is to educate, inspire, and motivate skinny guys through the process of building a bigger, stronger, leaner, and healthier body. By doing so I aim to boost your happiness, self-confidence, and self-belief.

Hi, I’m Tom and I am a former skinny kid who has added over 50lbs (23kg) to his frame.

This has transformed my life. I am no longer the anxious, shy, skinny kid that wouldn’t make eye contact with a stranger (let alone initiate conversation!). That’s who I used to be. The process of building my body has also built my mind. It has taught me many valuable lessons. This has improved my body and mind.

The muscle I have gained, the lessons I’ve learnt along the way, the struggles I have overcome have made me a happier, stronger, more confident person.

I want to help you to make this change too. It will radically improve your life.

I have made it my goal to educate, inform, inspire, and motivate 100,000 guys like you to improve your life.

This starts in the gym and spreads to all facets of your life. By building muscle and strength and transforming your physique, I know you will also improve your self-confidence, self-belief, self-esteem, self-worth.

When you get the boost in all these areas you feel like a superhero. That anything is possible and that you can achieve the impossible. I want you to experience that superhero mind-set and I promise to give you the best information, specifically targeted to helping skinny guys become the best version of themselves.

My Story

I was told I was too small to make it as a professional rugby player.

After a career ending knee injury at the age of 22, I had to give up on my dream of having a career as a professional rugby player. I got close to making this dream a reality and was contracted at a pro-club for 3 years. It had always been an uphill battle though because, I was so scrawny I looked like I would blow away in the wind. Before my injury this was my limiting factor. The fact I just couldn’t gain weight and was half the size of other guys was a huge hurdle in a sport so reliant on physicality.

Injury finally ended my dream. It also proved to be the catalyst to me finally stepping closer to the body I had always dreamed of.

The Gym – From a Place of Torture to Safe Haven

I used to hate the gym. As the weakest and skinniest guy in there I felt completely worthless. I would do anything to avoid having to go to save myself the embarrassment of letting others see the tiny weights I lifted.

The turning point came when after the season ended on of the bigger guys encouraged me to go to a local gym every day for two weeks. He said, it wasn’t optimal, but by the end I’d be addicted and I would have got over my fear of gyms. He was 100% correct and I owe him a debt of gratitude (Rob Hunt – if you ever read this – thank you!).

Slowly, I made progress in the gym. Gained a bit of strength. Saw some muscles beginning to appear. I LOVED this feeling. The fact I was in control. I got out what I put in. The harder I worked the better my results. The sense of achievement and power from seeing your efforts rewarded is intoxicating. I wanted more! So, I dug deep into researching what builds muscle. I went to university, got a Master’s degree in Strength & Conditioning, studied on courses all over the world, read countless articles, attended multiple seminars every year. All in the pursuit of improving my understanding on the muscle gain process.

I have gone from a skinny fat 80kg (176lbs) at aged 18 to 102kg (224lbs) and lean now so, I guess you could say it worked! My self-confidence and belief in what I can achieve has also sky-rocketed over the years.

I have also helped multiple personal training client achieve similar results. My confidence in my ability to deliver exactly what skinny guys need to grow has given me the kick up the backside I needed to launch this website and continually work to educate you on how to do what you thought was not possible. To build so much muscle that people who once laughed at you and called you a skinny hardgainer, now look at you and start saying, “you’re so lucky! You have great genetics. I would look like you too if I had the same genetics.”

That might seem far-fetched as you sit there now reading this, but believe me it’s possible. It is exactly what I’ve gone through. From people saying I was all skin and bone and that I was wasting my time in the gym. To now meeting people who assume it comes easy for me. People that think I just woke up one day over 100kg with abs. If only they knew!

You can transform yourself in just the same way. That’s what this website is here for. To provide you with the tools to do what you are so desperate to achieve. I wholeheartedly believe that you can build:

1. A better body.
2. A stronger mind.
3. A better life.
